Lilly Truscott is a down to earth California teen whose best friend is Miley Stewart, who is pop sensation, Hannah Montana under a wig. Lilly loves to skateboard. Her other best friend is Oliver Oken, who she later dates in season 3. When she is with Hannah, she is her best friend, Lola Luftnagle, who wears various colored wigs throughout the series.



Oliver Oscar Oken / Mike Stanley

Oliver Oken (nicknames include Smokin' Oken and Locker Doctor) is the best friend of Miley Stewart and Lilly Truscott. He's a flirt, with his flirting technique mostly consisting of nodding his head like a chicken and falling over. He tends to take a lot of physical abuse and jabs from Miley and Lilly, frequently involving one of them grabbing him by the shirt and him trying to defend his one chest hair.



Jackson Rod Stewart

Jackson Stewart is the weird older of brother of Miley Stewart. He works for Rico's snack shop at the beach and is a high school junior. He is known for getting himself into some pretty sticky situations. He is the only member of the Stewart family that doesn't have some kind of alternate identity.




Robbie Ray Stewart
Played by Billy Ray Cyrus

Robbie Ray is the widowed father of Jackson and Miley. Previously, he was once a famous country singer named Robbie Ray, but gave in to the death of his wife, he on his career to be there for his children. For Hannah, he is the manager, producer and songwriter, and when it occurs in this role, he wears a mustache in order to protect Miley's true identity.



Rico Suave
Played by Moises Arias

Rico is an annoying, rich, but highly intelligent boy whose father runs the surf shop, where Jackson works. Rico annoys many people, including Miley and Jackson. This is named as his hobby. He started to be one of the main characters in season two onwards.
